We are so excited that you are interested
in visiting us, and we want to make your
experience as comfortable as possible.
Below are some answers to some common
questions and concerns you might have
as you plan your visit.
- What
do I wear? Some churches dress
up, some dress down. At RLCC, it's come
as you are. You'll see folks in jeans
and boots, and slacks, ties, and dresses
(hopefully not at the same time.) So,
wear what you would normally wear and
feel at home in.
- What
do I do with my kids? We have
an excellent Children's
ministry, "Real
Kids For Christ " at RLCC. This
ministry is available for newborns
through 4th graders. Children
in kindergarten and younger may be
dropped off and signed in before the church service
starts. Everyone else meets together
in the main worship center to sing and worship.
The children are invited to stand
up front by the stage during worship.
During a short break, the 1st-5th
graders should be taken to their classroom, each classroom has a sign outside, indicating the age. Parents are asked to pick up children in their classrooms immediately following the service.
- What
is the music like? Our Worship
Music style is contemporary, utilizing
amazing talents on guitar, keyboards,
bass, percussion/drums, and vocals, designed to engross
you in the worship time and prepare
your heart for the Word of God.
- Will
it cost me anything? As part
of our worship to God, we participate
in a weekly giving time. However,
as a visitor, please feel released
from giving and enjoy your time with
us.
- What
kind of preaching will I hear? Pastor Steve teaches
directly from the Word of God - the
Bible, with real life stories, examples,
and anecdotes to help bring the message
home and help you to understand it. If you'd like to hear a preview of Pastor Steve's style, visit our Sermons page for past sermons in MP3 format.
- What
time do I show up and how do I get
there? Sunday service starts
at 9:30am. We suggest you show up a few
minutes early to get settled and find
a seat, especially if you have kids
that need nursery and/or childcare.
